50-Minute Session

Appointments are available with a psychologist for adults aged 18 and over.

A 50-minute session at Laura Larkin Psychology costs $220. With a GP Mental Healthcare Plan, you will be out of pocket $123.35.

The AAPi recommended fee for a registered Psychologist is $315/hour.

Medicare funded appointments

With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, the out-of-pocket cost for sessions with a psychologist is $123.35 (Up to 10 sessions per year).

With a referral from your GP for non-directive pregnancy counselling, the out-of-pocket cost for sessions with a psychologist is $149.15 (Up to 3 sessions).

Please note: To be eligible for Medicare rebates, you must obtain a GP referral before your first appointment

TAC

Out of pocket costs for a standard appointment under TAC is $22.73*

Worksafe

Out of pocket cost for a standard appointment under Worksafe is $24.98*

*Please note the full fee of $220 must be payed at the time of the appointment, with a receipt provided for you to claim with TAC/Worksafe

Private Health Insurance

Please confirm with your private health fund if you are eligible for psychology rebates.

Missed / Late Cancelled Appointments

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than two business day’s notice will incur a cancellation fee. Please remember that you can change your appointment to Telehealth at any time to make attendance possible.

Cancellation fees help maintain consistent access to care, allow us to offer your appointment time to another client, reduce lost clinical time, and ensure appointment availability for everyone by minimising the need for overbooking. If we are able to fill your cancelled appointment, the cancellation fee will not be charged, so please provide as much notice as possible.

Cancelation fee structure:

• Less than one business day’s notice: Full session fee ($220).
  For example, if your appointment is on a Monday, notice must be provided before the same time on the Friday prior to avoid full fee.

• One to two business days’ notice: 25% of the session fee ($55).
