Understanding yourself differently

Sometimes we spend years wondering why certain things feel harder than they seem to for others.

You may have found yourself questioning patterns in attention, organisation, sensory experiences, relationships, communication, energy, or the way you navigate everyday life. For some people, exploring ADHD or Autism provides a new framework for understanding these experiences—with greater self-compassion, clarity, and confidence.

An assessment is not simply about receiving a label. It is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself: your strengths, your challenges, the ways you experience the world, and the types of environments and supports that allow you to thrive.

I provide adult ADHD and autism assessments from a neuroaffirming perspective, recognising neurodivergence as a natural part of human diversity. The assessment process aims to provide meaningful insight and practical recommendations that are aligned with your values, strengths, and individual needs.

ADHD and autism can share some overlapping experiences, including differences in executive functioning, sensory processing, attention regulation, organisation, and emotional regulation. A comprehensive assessment considers the whole person—including your history, strengths, challenges, and lived experience—to develop a clearer understanding of how you think, learn, communicate, and engage with the world.

Psychologists cannot prescribe medication. Medication can be discussed with your GP and prescribed by a psychiatrist.
